The ClubAid prototype is finished! I don’t know how to add it to this blog post, so you will have to be satisfied with some screenshots. I think it looks really nice, but feel free to leave a comment with your thoughts on it.
This first screenshot shows the opening screen of the ClubAid application. You see this screen the first time you open the application, so that it can assist you in finding a club and checking in. There are several options here. First of all you can search for a club nearby. This function is mostly convenient when you are in a town you don’t know and want to find a nice place to go. The second option allows you to select a club from your list of favorites, while the third option shows a list of the clubs you have recently visited. Both options provide a shortcut, so that you can save time by skipping manually searching for a club. The friend locator allows you to see in which clubs your friends are currently checked in. This way you know where the place to be is tonight.
After selecting a club through either of the abovementioned options, you are shown some basic information on the club, such as it’s opening hours, the type of music they play and the average rating given to this club by its visitors. This information helps you to decide whether you want to visit this club.
You can now check-in at this club with you own account or create a pot with your friends, so you don’t have to worry about who pays for which round. If you don’t know how to find the club, you can use the ‘Navigate’ option, which will show you how to get there. By clicking on ‘Find Friends’ you can see which of your friends are currently inside this club.
Once you have checked in, the fun can begin!
